FOUR BASIC QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ON WHY TRAVEL TO KENYA

Q. Why should I go on a Kenyan Safari?

A. Kenya is a country located in the East Africa region. It has one of the best economies and one of the last outpost to raw adventures that makes it an amazing refuge from the modern world. From the scenic viewing of game parks, cliffs, waterfalls, beaches like non other and the captivating views of the Rift Valley, to the splendor of the Masai Mara where herds of a million wild-beast is witnessed crossing the Mara River and not forgetting the pristine beauty of Lake Nakuru and Lake Bogoria hot-springs. These are just but a few of what Kenya has to offer. In my opinion, Kenya in particular provides tourists and travelers with a high quality African wildlife, camping, mountain climbing and beach relaxation to create memories of a lifetime.

Q. When is the perfect time to go on a safari in Kenya?

A. Kenya is always a tourist destination all year round. It mostly depends on the places and animals you like to view and see respectively as well as your budget for the stay here. For budget travelers the period between November and mid December is best as it is the low season and has advantages such as special offers. Generally, it is felt like the best time is during the 'African-winter' [Jan-March and July-October] as some may call it. During this time the weather conditions are normally favorable for game drives. It is also a period when there is very little or no rains hence most animals in game parks and reserves can be sighted as they move around looking for food and water.

Q. How do I get to Kenya and what are the entry requirements?

A. Kenya can be reached by direct international fights to its capitol Nairobi and other major towns ie; Kisumu, Eldoret and Mombasa. There are a number of airlines operating direct flights to Nairobi from Europe, Asia, United States and many other African countries. Upon entry to Kenya, you may be required to produce a valid Visa. The Kenyan Government has rolled out an online Visa application where you can apply and pay online. After application, the Visa will be processed then sent online to the applicant(s). The Visa is printed out and presented to an immigration officer at the point of entry.

Q. What should I pack on a Kenyan safari?

A. For comfortable stay, packing a multiple layer of clothes is advised as the temperatures are normally mild during the day and considerably cooler during the mornings and evenings. Also a standard safari gear can be essential as it includes sunscreens, broad brim hats and not to forget mosquito repellents.

MAKING KENYA A TRIBE-LESS NATION

LET OUR TRIBES DEFINE OUR ROOTS AND NOT DIVIDE US

It is all clear and well known that an eye for an eye only makes the world a blind place. This will keep ruining the peace in our country if we do not become the change needed to make the world a better place. What is in between our ears is what really matters and where we come from is just there to give us a sense of belonging. Everyone needs to live in a country where one forgets the tribe they come from and eat, work and dance to the tune of nation building.
In order to change the world to what we want, we should first acknowledge that the foundation of every state in every aspect of life is the youth education. This will give us a lead and direction  to where we want our future to be. The willingness of the youth to working together as a nation will shape and change the future generation of this country and the whole world at large.
As we all know, Kenya is a blessed nation having 42 different tribes and 47 different counties only to define and give us a sense of belonging. The big picture is that the world sees us a country and to move forward we need one another. Lets keep calm and preach peace for the sake of nation building.
